I could not think of a way this could have been more poorly handled. There is a whole sphere of work called change management and this process did not tick one box in the process

I believe this would inhibit regular exhibitors. I recommend a Supreme Ch and Grand Ch class instead.

Do not feel the championship class is of any benefit the failing numbers. Not every member got the email and had the chance to vote. A lot of older members are not familiar with online voting so couldn’t complete it.

Not enough information was provided, the yes/no options then fed into a secondary question with no option to decline either of the responses offered. A poorly communicated and executed attempt by DA

I cannot see any merit to this suggestion - it will just decrease numbers further and there was no consultation with the members

I feel the introduction of the champion class into the current ankc rules would significantly decrease the numbers of exhibits at dog shows. Already, the numbers are declining so I do not feel this would be beneficial.

Bringing in a champion class will be detrimental to the Australian dog world as we know it. It will greatly reduce the number of dogs an exhibitor can handle- we are mostly owner handle we don't have handlers like the usa. This means entering only 1 Titled dog. Therefore reducing entry numbers further. A champion class is not the answer. This needs to be discussed with members with full disclosure so an informed & effective choice can be made.

I do not want this class to go ahead
