Poorly presented and people did not understand the implications. I don't think there was a chance to vote NO. I have a champion in the junior class and I want to show her in her age group.

I do not support the champion class.
This system will force many dogs into retirement once they turn 18mth of age. As an owner/ breeder/ handler with multiply champion dogs I would be force to enter them all in the same class, which is physically impossible if you want to handle your own dogs. So instead of 1 person currently being able to enter a total of 6 champion dogs and bitches over 18mths of age in individual classes 5, 10, 11. and show the dogs themselfs this system would limiting CH dogs over 18mths to the champion class. So I could only show 2 of my own dogs. This new system will force entries to drop even further.

I disagree with the champion class , the survey was flawed and there was no option for leaving the classes as they are or to vote No.

Instead of a compolsary Champions class.Why not add Veterans as competitive class above the open class

There should be a supreme/grand champion class, there is a big jump from 100 points to 1000 points. If you only own a few dogs and they reach champion you can not run all 3 or so dogs at the same time so down go the numbers

Hoping a similar petition will be started in Victoria or that signing here will cause DogsVic to reconsider this ridiculous champion rule that no one I know wants!

Not enough entries here now to warrant a champion class. We don’t have the numbers they have overseas.
