1. All Israeli citizens who permanently live in Israel but who happen to be outside the country on election day.
2. Israeli citizens who live abroad.
The current law entitles us, the citizens of Israel, to vote regardless of where we are
but at the same time requires us to be physically present in Israel on election day which creates a major obstacle in the ability to exercise our civic duty.

I have been reviewing the feedback from those who feel disconnected from our democratic process due to their residency abroad. My focus remains on articulating why physical presence in Israel should not be a prerequisite for fulfilling our civic obligation. I am currently preparing a formal letter to present these arguments to the relevant legislative committees.

Living in the US for work shouldn't mean I lose my right to decide who runs my country. Let us vote from the embassy!
Cant get home for the elections because of my job but my heart is still in Israel. Please change the law.
ridiculous that we have to be there in person in 2019. so many other countries have figured this out years ago
Voting is a right, not a travel requirement. Make it happen!
I am an Israeli citizen and I deserve to have a say in my future even if I am studying abroad right now.

FINALLY. It is so frustrating having to buy an expensive plane ticket just to cast a ballot. Fix this already.
