Vlad Caffery, my close friend, has recently come out as a trans boy within the last few months. While only out so a select few, he has received much support from his peers, and is slowly beginning to become more comfortable with his identity.
Vlad is ready to begin his transition and begin taking testosterone supplements, and his friends are ready to support him. However, his family is having a difficult time trying to understand and support the situation, and we ask for your help.
This petition was created in order to make an effort to convince Vlad's parents to support Vlad throughout his transition and journey. We hope that with enough signatures, we can demonstrate for them the love and support Vlad is receiving and compel them in aiding their son through his transition. Your signature would be greatly appreciated by all of us.
The picture is of Vlad from his 17th birthday last April. With your support, it's possible he could be on testosterone by this 18th birthday.

I am done sitting around waiting for Vlad's parents to come around while he stays stuck in limbo. We are currently drafting a direct letter to them because their silence on this issue is unacceptable and harmful.

The massive surge in support proves that Vlad deserves to live his truth without his parents blocking his path. We are building an undeniable wall of allies that they can no longer ignore.

I know accepting change can be difficult, and that it isn't always easy. Sometimes we fear the change that we don't understand, but society has been changing all around us, most of it for the better! So please, try your best to accept what Vlad wants. I'm not trying to force your way or tell you what's right- but think of it like this: would you rather someone change to be themself or change to be someone they aren't?
Let him live (honestly its so good for someone smental health if they are trans let the guy do what he needs to feel better about himself)
