Ziplines are cool but rocketry in Vista View is ESSENTIAL!!! Western High School rocketry comes here all the time and there’s nowhere else nearby to go for rocketry.

Can't they work together? Soccer teams and rocket clubs have been happy neighbors for many years. surely zip lines could do the same.

In my opinion, zip-lining is predominantly for entertainment. Designing, building and launching model rockets is the definition of STEM - it IS also our future! The current level of space exploration and space flight activity is on an exponential curve of growth. Our Nation, and our world NEEDS rocket scientists - we have enough zip-line :)

As others have mentioned. Zip lining is a fad. The cost for installation, liability, upkeep far exceed what possible revenue this might generate. Sure, initially it will draw customers and excitement, but after a short period of time it will lose interest and become an eyesore that will need dismantling. Parks are just that, a place for all to enjoy, not just one small group. The investment in our youth is far superior than any 10 second "thrill" ride.

Long time model rocketeer; use to live in Florida panhandle (Niceville) where I got started in model rocketry in 1969, and Central Florida (Orlando) in 1979, where I belonged to the (then) Orange Rocketeers club.

The STEM/TARC rocketry program is the convergence of academics and a thrilling hobby. This is a program that truly inspires participants to exceed in the STEM disciplines. I can not fathom how a zip line could add as much value to someone's future as anything related to either rocketry or STEM.

I'm a retired teacher that used rocketry in my classroom for 25 years. The educational value of rocketry FAR exceeds the monetary gain of a zip line.

Model rockets provide a safe, educational and positive outlet for kids of all ages. If this launch site is closed, it will only limit the endless possibilities a child has to learn and grow.

We need to keep our youth passionate about technology and get them off a bad direction. Do this for both them and America. There is no VAILID reason to not allow this in my opinion. Thank you.
