Recently started at TECCA and it has been a great change not just for our kids, but our whole family. Please support TECCA's staff and teachers to keep the focus on the students, not financial struggles.

Going into our 7th year with TECCA and the teachers have all been amazing, dedicated and a huge part of my daughters education.

Teaching is teaching no matter where you do it from. Pay teachers what they’re worth.

Bonuses instead of pay increases are a way to keep salaries low in the not so long run.

I would like to hear management's justification for pay not in line with state average. Beyond, "Because we don't want to."

I did take a $25,000 pay cut to come here. This description of the school was not shared with me during my interview. Thanks to the members of the union.

According to Mass. gov The Social Security Administration has announced that the latest Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is 5.9% in 2022. Local school districts often have cost of living raises worth 6-9% over 3 years. A cost of living increase of only 2% for TECCA staff is almost hurtful. I am a highly qualified teacher and took a large paycut to come to TECCA. Other members from my previous school have not applied for jobs at TECCA due to the current salaries. I sincerely hope that TECCA reconsiders the current payscale that is being proposed.

TECCA is unable to attract and keep qualified staff due to its pay scale. Current cost of living increase proposals do not keep up with insurance costs, etc. While we do not commute regularly and save on that front, we do not have access to supplies or a supply budget. Please keep our increases in line with other districts.

I took a 20% pay cut to come to TECCA, and now I am even further behind my old district because of the lack of increases from TECCA. Health insurance deductibles have increased, with no commensurate salary increase. Responsibilities continue to increase. I was part of several interview committees last year, and we lost at least 2 desired candidates because of the salary. Paying lip service to how we are valued is not enough. Pay us what we are worth, which is at least as much as other TEC districts.

There needs to a comparable salary scale to our brick and mortar counterparts.

We do not receive any work home supports like other companies including stipends for supplies etc. Aside from this our salaries should reflect that of those of other educators.

Go Union! I support any efforts to get us a better deal including strike. Tecca is unique and we have an opportunity to do something special here. Let's start this right the first time.
