The female students at Villanova should be able to move ahead with their virtual sorority rush. So much has already been taken from these students due to COVID. What is the justification for shutting this down until a month before they go home for the summer? Villanova do better. Please. Reinstate virtual sorority rush. This isn’t Catholic High School. Ease up on the nonsensical rules.

postponing recruitment to the end of the semester may seem logical because of activities that come after formal recruitment ends (i.e. gatherings with pledge classes, chapter members), but i’d like to remind villanova admin that fraternities have been met with ZERO repercussions and are being able to hold their rush events as normal. make it make sense villanova, these freshman girls should not have to deal with an entire semester in isolation while other people are able to do whatever they please. A Zoom recruitment is safe, covid-free, and will make a world of difference for hundreds of people who have yet to have the “villanova experience” this school seems to claim to sell.

As an alumni of KKG at Villanova, Rush is an important part of feeling a sense of belonging at Villanova for a lot of the young women. We've been living with Covid now for a year, it's time to get a plan together to move forward with some social events for these patient young people, especially the Freshmen. This age group is least affected by this disease. If you can't figure out how to do it, then look at how other universities have done it successfully this past Fall. They see their friends at other universities having a more normal college experience. Come on, Nova, we expect more from you. Give it some effort. Let's break away from the "Villa-NO-fun" mentality.

Let these kids enjoy something or send them home. Villanova Prison - my daughter is a freshman in a single in St Marys - how do you meet friends. Horrible experience for her at Villanova - you can do better!!!

Keep in mind that this is online which will contribute to keeping the students indoors and not out and about!

We commend Villanova for having students on campus, with roommates with in person for classes. We feel a virtual rush provides an optional online social outlet during this unprecedented time.
