We just hit one thousand signatures and the organizers at PortoEventos along with the council in Caminha need to stop ignoring the groundswell of anger against them. This legendary festival is being sacrificed for political incompetence and we are not going to sit quietly while they kill our history.

We hit one hundred signatures while the bureaucrats at the Camara de Caminha and PortoEventos pretend like they can just kill off our history. This is only the beginning and we will not let them destroy this festival through their pathetic inability to reach an agreement.

The momentum we have built proves that the people refuse to let this festival die because of the incompetence at the Camara de Caminha. PortoEventos and the local council cannot keep ignoring our anger while they destroy our culture.

Tantos anos de história e agora isto. A camara tem de resolver isto urgente. O festival é nosso!!
Tristeza enorme. Era a unica altura do ano em que aquela vila ganhava vida.
Parem de matar a cultura em Portugal! Queremos Vilar de Mouros de volta.
Isto é uma vergonha absoluta. Vilar de Mouros é parte da nossa memória e não pode acabar assim por causa de falta de apoios.
Inacreditavel, nao desistam por favor. O festival tem de acontecer nem que seja com bandas da terra.
