This Wisconsin based group and their liberal supporters in Taos who colluded with them to desecrate OUR history need to mind their own business. This memorial honors the sacrifice made by many New Mexicans, and WE honor that history of the Cross, under which our ancestors fought for more than 400 years. Get out of Taos if you don't approve of our culture, our history, and our values.

The cross belongs to Taoseno veterans. The cross has meaning to us, it's not bothering anyone that knows the sacrifice out veterans fought for our country. The Cross stays. The individual's that have brought the issue up , need to go back where you came from. This town belongs to all Taosenos.

This memorial represents not only our Tri-cultural community but it also represents our beliefs and traditions. This memorial tells everyone that we not only believe in God, but we also believe in our country, and that we are willing to not only fight for our country but that as a community we accept our differences and still stand for what makes us who we are, Taosenos. We don't go around complaining about what bothers us and just expect people to abide by our standards. We don't go to other states and demand that they change their ways because their ways are different than ours. We respect and let people live the way they want in their states, Towns and communities. These other people should do the same and mind their own business.

Born and raised in Taos, against random people coming into our community to tell us what to do. This beautiful symbol of Taos and it's culture has been around before my time on earth. And it should stay up for decades and generations to enjoy and be proud of it. This is our town not yours, you don't like it, then your welcome to go back to the place you call home. Because Taos is not or never will be your home.

People who don't know the community traditions shouldn't change our views on life that has been here longer then the country been a country. Our community is diverse and accepts the view we will absorb many ideas if the role fits into our identity.... We don't go to your town and impose our views on them.
