We have the right to choose a symbol of memorial that stands with our cultures and traditions, it doesn't force a religious preference it's a recognized symbol of memorial, just like the headstones at Arlington National Cemetery! Keep the cross!

One outsider comes in and says they are offended or they don't like it and they call the ACLU. That is just wrong the cross represents the Veterans who fought for our freedom some of them came home and some didn't. I am so sick of people coming here and trying to take away our rights. LEAVE THE CROSS THERE.

The cross is a symbol of of the ultimate sacrifice for others which is death. The men and women who gave there lives in service of this great country should be honored in this way because they gave so the rest of us wouldn't have to. If you would go to the national cemeteries across the country and tell the family's of those who served in the military that they can't be honored in this way because some people don't understand the significance of the cross is a shame. I don't think that just a plack or a sculpture can portray the sacrifice they gave for us other than the cross.

Or if they have moved here why then change OUR past to accommodate their values!!!
