This is a serious misuse of our taxpayer dollars that need to be better spent elsewhere, and a complete disrespect to our military. This parade is purely for Trump's ego, and is totally unacceptable.

Mr. President, Some apologists are saying you're doing this FOR the military. It feels like you're doing it TO the military. I'm sorry, sir, but this feels childish, like something a 9 year-old would ask for while writing an essay entitled "If I were President for a Day." There are better ways to use or honor the military and use the funds then have an hour to show off our weaponry and troops. Please reconsider.

Veterans & the poor die Every. Single. Day. from poverty, homelessness, untreated medical & mental conditions, and to WASTE millions of dollars on frivolities like outrageously expensive doors, dining tables, first class tickets for civil servants AND an utterly unwanted & wasteful military parade is vile, egocentric BS.
