For those wanting such a parade to boost morale in the military, don’t be fooled by Trump’s desire for self adulation. He wants to puff out his chest and boast to the world about how tough he is. Such a parade should come with an appropriate event, and why not settle for Memorial Day and Veterans Day?

Trump is pathologically needy. Spend the money on veterans' care.

I am a veteran... a parade is insulting and a serious waste of money.

Disgusting waste of money and manpower to placate a narcissist, draft-dodger while there are tens of thousands of homeless veterans. An authoritarian move by a banana republican fake president.

Egocentric is not America. Waste of money. Want to honor our military? Better use of that taxpayer $$....No more homeless vets. No more military families on welfare. Affordable HC. And don’t waste billions on that stupid wall.

If there is a military parade, there should be a citizens/veterans parade in protest.

This is not being done to honor our veterans or our military but so Trump can use them to feed his over inflated ego. Our Veterans deserve better than this.

Why should we have a parade with a 5 time draft dodger, who happens to be the Commander in Chief. Think of all the Gold Star families and hundreds of thousands of disabled vets. Not to mention our active service members. Let his two sons serve! Cowards also.

The vets and currently serving need the $ more.

I grew up in the "we will BURY you" era. I remember the Red Square parades. They won't show appreviation for veterans; they are worship services for egotistical politicians. This is a 3rd-world dictator's idea of a good expenditure.
