This manager proved that Publix loves their customers, even though a rule was broken and his own safety was put into jeopardy. He showed great character and integrity. We need more people like him in this world.

Do the "morally" right thing and reinstate the manager for doing the "morally" right thing.. You should be PROUD to have such a wonderful person working for your company...he SHOULDN'T be punished for doing the "RIGHT" thing!!

As a former Publix employee, I can honestly say this is the first time I am ashamed of Publix. This is a PR NIGHTMARE for aa eemployee-owned company, and could affect ALL employees for a very long time. Please rethink this decision before it gets worse!

The Publix corporation should be ashamed of how they are treating their employee that went above and beyond for his customer! I have shopped at this particular Publix store since it first opened and consider the employees a part of my life. Even though I so not know this manager personally I have become friends with many others there. You could not ask for a better group of people. Instead of reprimanding this manager...maybe you should
show some pride in him! As a loyal customer I am appalled at the way he is being treated!
