I agree that full transparency is necessary if stakeholders at vd Stel is to be impacted by a decision being made. Whether these stakeholders have a choice in the decision or not, I believe that the necessary information should be shared with them to be able to plan the future of the sports grounds and facilities utilized.

VDS Sport Grounds should be kept as a mixed sport facility which benefits the whole community and allows multiple sporting disciplines to come together and share their love for sport and fitness. Any other development of the grounds will lead to further gentrification in Stellenbosch Central.
