My 21st birthday party was at Van der Stel hall 25 years ago. As well as my wedding in 2005. I would love to have my eldest daughter's 21st birthday party in that same hall this year n April. This hall have brought families together. Please keep Van der Stel alive it serve our communities well very well.

Please keep VDS open to the public as is for different sports. The location is perfect for our kids. My son practice rugby on those fields and he plays games there. We value the heritage of VDS.

Please keep the sporting facility for multi sports use and ensure that all decision making is done openly and all parties are involved in any on going plans.

Loss of this venue will create difficult situation for our sport as suitable trial grounds for the sport are very scarce. It has been used for many years for club trials in which members from the western cape participate as well as annual regional trials which draws members from all over South Africa.
