Prom this year at Varndean will be held in early May -2 months earlier than usual and just 3 DAYS before our all-important first GCSE exam! This is bad news as it could jeopardize our valuable study time, and also means that we will not have a proper conclusion to our 5 years together as a year group. How can we celebrate the most key years of our lives so far if we have to worry about the exams in the weeks that follow? By signing this petition, you are helping with our campaign so that our prom can be held not only at a more traditional later date, but also at a more convenient time so that we as, a year group, can focus on getting the grades we need and deserve.
