Please sign this petition to have a redlight installed on Vann Drive at the intersection of Country Club Lane!!!

We, the undersigned concerned citizens, hereby petition for Mayor Jerry Gist, the City Council, the Planning Department and any others in a position of authority in Jackson, Madison County, TN, to authorize the installation of a traffic light at the intersection of Country Club Lane and the east end of Vann Drive. The traffic flow has steadily increased over the years to the point of creating a safety hazard for those entering Vann Drive from Country Club, as well a those trying to make a left turn onto Country Club, especially during peak traffic periods. We also feel that the installation of a traffic light at this intersection would slow the speed of and serve as a deterrent for those who create yet another safety hazard by violating the 40 mph speed limit along this heavily traveled stretch of Vann Drive.
