I am currently drafting a formal letter to the planning committee regarding the City Gate project. Our petition provided the necessary leverage to request a briefing on the long term impact to the Royal Opera House. I will share the official response once it is received.

KEEP THE OPEN AIR THEATER. It is the only thing that makes the space usable in the summer nights.
total waste of money. fix the potholes in the side streets instead of making grand plans that nobody asked for.
So sad to see our heritage being messed with. Please think about what the people actually want for once.
stop the construction. enough is enough.
The city gate needs to be restored properly. It looks like a building site for years now. Just get it done.

Valletta is losing its soul. Leave the gate alone and let the opera house stay ruined as a memorial, it means more that way.
