I feel that the council should reconsider. It's hard to find property as well as run a business. Especially how the economy is!!! Please don't let joy become homeless!!!

I hope the council just sees sense, this is crazy! Making her homeless will only cost the council more to re-home her, there is an affordable housing shortage at the moment, allowing her to stay just makes financial sense! I hope this all works out for you.

Please stop penalising this lady for doing the right thing. You have enjoyed the council tax for this property, so therefore are recognising this as a residential property. It's madness, surely you have more legitamit things to be taking negative views st??

Another crazy decision in Penarth. Fabulous buildings over the years have been left to fall down and the council do nothing yet they are prepared to make someone homeless. Have some common sense and let Joy stay in her home.

Which is better, an unused space going derelict or a property with someone taking care of it and paying into not only the local coffers with council tax but within the community. Good luck!

Surely there are enough homeless people in the world. Would it be such a bad thing to grant permission. I can't understand why a grown lady can't decide whether she has enough amenity space or not. If she wants to go outside then she can go out her front door.
I'm sure there must be more pressing issues that need the councils time and money.
