If she lived in a flat she wouldn't have a garden. She owns this property and is happy to live there. If she is evicted she will have no money to live anywhere else and will have to rely on council handouts at the cost of the taxpayer. She does not want to do this.
It is ludicrous that she cannot stay there when the neighbours have not objected

I don't understand why this is such a big issue. We have a major shortage of housing. This lady has housed herself at no cost to anyone other than herself. Please allow this lady to live where she is safe and comfortable, causing no problem to anyone else.

When I see some of the planning applications that are passed, which have a considerable impact on the area and neighbouring property's.l can not believe that you have a problem with this particular building. Please explain as I live in the heart on the conservation area and you have aloud new building to have Windows on three sides of my home , which means l have to be fully clothed to use any room in my house

The kind moral thing to do is to support the plans for Mrs Atkinson to be able to be near her daughter in affordable housing where she already pays her way.

As a resident I'm outraged that my council tax is being spent on this, frankly, non decision.
If the house in unsafe (and let's be honest, it's safer than no house), tell her what she needs to do to make it safe. Otherwise, keep your beaky nose out of this poor lady's life!
