Some Women will feel comfortable to serve and take advice from woman guru. women can deal better with emotional people. Also to find a woman renounced and detached from her family is hard. Any way all women should learn how attachment is the cause of all their miseries.

Are we the soul or are we the body. If we are the body, then why be a devotee? Either you are qualified, in that you have understood the words of your spiritual master and can uplift others in devotional life (alongside the benchmarks of guru, sastra and sadhu) or you can't. And if you can, and people work against you to do that, then they are, well, at best... fools. As to the question of formality, at the end of the day, you have to weigh impact / result / consequence. What is the more important, to open up the storehouse of love of God, or to weight social impact? Unless, perhaps you feel there is no need, as there are no potential disciples. Water seeks its level, the heart its desire, the disciple finds their guru. If there are no disciples, then there is no guru.

Please let us not be divisive. These difficult times require many surrendered souls to spread the Holy Name and bring back as many fallen souls as possible to Lord Caitanya's sankirtana movement and to continue as Srila Prabhupada has instructed. So we must encourage those devotees who are qualified and willing to take up this most challenging and important service, regardless of the body they inhabit at the moment.

Sanctioning qualified women to give diksa is an essential and long overdue step toward realizing Srila Prabhupada's mission of delivering the western countries. Please make it so.
