Hare Krsna! The instructions of our bonafide founder/acharya will prevail. I am sure that our movement will only grow and become more empowered by allowing qualified souls who happen to be a female bodies, accept this serious responsibility on behalf of our beloved Srila Prabhupada.

Having women for guru can open up a comfortable zone on self study since in many cases only another woman can truly understand. By having femal guru, a greater balance can be found

It seems to me this proposal honors Srila Prabhupada’s legacy more than disallowing qualified women to initiate would.

This is EXTREMELY important for spreading the mission of Mahāprabhu. This is a logical continuation of the choice of Śrīla Prabhupāda to give second initiation to women: in the Western country women and men have similar education and equal access to positions of authority. If this is not respected, at least in the West, the KC movement will appear to be "backward" and will attract ridicule and disdain rather than respect and veneration. Please consider this and pass the resolution!

In Alachua ISKCON, women are fully active in every aspect of the temple and outreach programs and the community is thriving. How much ISKCON has missed out by discouraging its women! How long will this travesty continue?

Put your actions where your mouth is when you say: "We see the soul, not the body".
