Better stick with Srila Prabhupada on this and stop looking to the past or outsider traditionalist scholars for permission or endorsement.

It seems to me, according to your philosophy, if someone is qualified to guide and instruct as a spiritual guru, there should not be discrimination based on the body.

Does not matter the gender, really ! But if a person is actually qualified to become guru, this person does not need to be voted-in by anyone, sorry !

Pranams, In spiritual matters spiritual qualifications are more relevant than bodily qualifications or considerations.And there were quotes were S.Prabhupada said that they can be Vaishnavi gurus . I have seen sincere,qualified and knowledgable vaishnavis who I believe they deserve and are capable of being gurus (example is H.G.Narayani Mataji ).Australia

Does not matter the gender if a person is qualified. The issue is that no one among those people is qualified, man or woman. Therefore more and more kanisthas giving diksha, does not matter they preach. A madhyama preaches the right and true Krsna consciousness, not a bogus and neophyte-only misunderstood jnana one.

personally i think there are some very qualified Vaishnavis that could give Diksha in Iskcon, i totally agree ti allow and support themselves.
