The undersigned believe that the current leadership of the Student Government Association (SGA) of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point has failed the general student body. This year's SGA leaders have: - Created an atmosphere of secrecy and lack of transparency in SGA and shared governance. - Attempted to transfer, through questionable means, $15,000 of student money to an outside organization towards the construction of a skate park. - Failed to run an adequate election (only 226 votes from the student population of over 9000). - Failed to provide prior notice of large decisions such as the vote of no confidence on Chancellor Linda Bunnell and other major decisions. - Created the LARGEST segregated fee increase in the past 4 years. We request the resignation of SGA President Katie Kloth and SGA Vice President Kirk Cychosz effective immediately.
