I oppose elective abortions at University of Vermont Medical Center.

A hospital's first duty to the community is to preserve life and you are not doing that! Any fall-out from that, the community has many programs and adoptive parents waiting to help and take care of the babies! Please protect the most innocent and helpless, and do add elective abortions as an option. Thank you! God will smile on you and bless you!

It is abhorrent that the trustees of such a wonderful medical facility would even entertain such a policy change. Life is precious and God given whether in the womb or not.

The role of our medical professionals has always been to help save lives and not take them. The decision to allow elective abortions is a grave mistake and is an offense against the hospitals mission, the doctors and staff, and the dignity of the human person.

They are a child of God at conception. He will decide when they will join Him in Heaven!

Medical industry should not be in the business of killing the innocent and hiding behind women's rights when the rights of all are ignored. This is also an inconvenient truth.

UVMMC made a horrible choice allowing elective abortions. A hospital is for healing the sick not killing innocent babies.

I am ver concerned that health personnel and medical and nursing students will have no rights of conscience in this matter. Pro Life people will be weeded out of staff and educators.

I oppose the decision of the University of Vermont Medical center Board of Trustees to redefine "family Planning" services to include elective abortions. Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” I say to the Trustees be aware of what REALLY is going on -

Abortion is the brutal murder of an innocent human being. There is no other honest way to see it. Hospitals and health care providers are supposed to protect and save lives, not destroy them. I cannot in conscience use any facility for my own health care that performs elective abortions, and ask UVMC to reverse this horrible policy decision.
