I did my clinical at this hospital. It is a wonderful healthcare facility, but this cannot stand.

Abortion. One of those things we’ll look back on someday and say, “What were we thinking?!”

As a patient and family advisor/volunteer I have questioned my participation in an organization that performs elective abortions.

How did this ever happen at this hospital that fought to save my life when I was battling pancreatic cancer surgery for 4 months. You must reverse this very decision that was made without staff knowing about it.

If this injustice to innocent children is done, I will do my best to find my medical need elsewhere!

If this is the attitude the Board of Trustees toward life, I am not sure if I will be comfortable there as a patient.

Life should be protected from conception to natural death.

Abortion is murder it is not family planning

My two siblings were both "diagnosed" with high downs syndrome markers through amniocentesis. My mother chose to continue with both pregnancies and both of them are perfectly fine - normal. They are both wonderful contributing adults that would not be alive today if she had listened to those who suggested she terminate. It's horrible! Stop the abortions!

Doctors: "Do NO harm." Hospitals should be SAVING lives. Compromise in the name of 'Family Planning' is a disgrace.

Put the brakes on becoming a center for the destruction of unborn life. For crying out loud, get it right.

I am disappointed in the leaders at UVM MC. Strange that an institution that works so hard to save the lives of pre-term babies in their NICU will then consider the lives of other babies meaningless. How do they reconcile that??

Please reverse this decision to allow abortions at the University of Vermont Medical Center, and allow your institution to live up to the Hippocratic Oath of "First do no harm."

Please respect ALL life, especially the unborn.

As a nurse I am appalled that UVMMC is even considering the opposite of what should be it's mission of protecting & saving the most vulnerable of lives, the preborn.

I heard the most beautiful story about adoption this morning. It was so touching. The parents gave the baby life, and a daughter to a family looking to adopt a baby girl, and that choice became a source of joy and peace for many people. Can we ever say the same about abortion? UVM medical has a reputation of being a joyful place to work. Please keep it that way.
