It is becoming very difficult with the upswing in price. We have not changed out usage. We feel that being raised to high rates is certainly not fair.

Water is a basic necessity and should be affordable. Continued and frequent rate hikes are detrimental to the quality of life. We do not fill pool; there are only two of us—both retired. Our water bill has more than doubled since this conglomerate took over.

The year moving into this house in 2012, the average bill was $69.93 per month.
For 2020, the average bill was $182.36 per month.
That's an increase of $112.43 per month or 160% increase!
There has been NO change in the household at all -- same amount of residents, same lifestyle/routine.

Water is ridiculously expensive here and the quality is horrible. My last bill in NY was for $29.10 for 6000 gallons for 2 months!!! And it was good water!

When are lift station loses power we can not use the sewage system which means no running water. Showers/dishwasher/sinks or toilets. Utilites inc did install a back flow valvebut stops serages from going out or coming in. Not a good situation.

Besides water being outrageous, they give horrible customer service. In October I had a broken meter, it had water running for days before it was noticed. They came and replaced the meter, the tech told me that the office would make an adjust.ment. (I figured it would be about $40.) I talked to customer service twice about this. They promised they would look into my complaint and get back to me. They never did. Their customer service is HORRIBLE>>>
