If have a facility already that has been there for 25 years, why not just improve that space with that $1.4 m budget. We don't need a large scale maintenance building inside a living community.

Current maintenance area is in an area/farm land which is conducive to housing equipment. Movement next to the clubhouse would be an eye sore.

With the city looking for ways to recover financially from the 2020 disaster, this seems to be a waste of taxpayer money as well as an eyesore in the surrounding communities. The city could follow the lead of homeowners and remodel the existing maintenance facility to preserve available funds for more important budget items e.g. helping small businesses, road repair, and snow removal (which is absent in our neighborhood).

To move the facility is a costly, wasteful, and totally optional expenditure. It is City Employee focused versus citizen focused. We invest in golf course community because of the environment and the view. If Longmont needs facility improvement, MAKE USE OF THE EXISTING LOCATION!!!
