I feel the maintenance facility should be kept at its current location and teh funding used to upgrade that facility.

I think it is a very bad Idea to move the shop to the parking lot. They have serviced the golf course just fine for 25 years. I do think it can use some upgrades along with a finished club house.

$1.4 million is a lot of money that could probably be better spent upgrading/refurbishing the existing maintenance facility. If any money remains, the city should upgrade the clubhouse kitchen into more of a restaurant.

The Hwy 66 facility must be upgraded, not relocated; the Clubhouse must not be left half-completed, not further decimated by locating a commercial landscaping yard and lawnmower rapair shop on back of the parking lot.

Exactly who does this plan benefit? Not the surrounding homeowners, not the golfers. Perhaps the City employees who get new air conditioned offices?

I see no logical or financial reason to disrupt views and property values. The current maintenance site on 66 could be renovated, modified or expanded at a lower cost.

The city needs to consider taking their time and building a structure that is aesthetically pleasing. This should have been done when the current clubhouse was built. You have this absolutely dropdead beautiful view which could’ve had a lovely clubhouse and restaurant. I believe had that been done it would’ve generated a considerable amount of business at the restaurant with people living close by and also others in the community. Please take your time And wait if you need to generate more money to do an aesthetically attractive building. Let’s not repeat the mistake that was made when the clubhouse was built. Don’t be shortsighted.

I cannot understand the logic of moving a maintenance facility this close to the Ute Creek Club House and the surrounding golf course homes. The proposed moving of the maintenance facility would not be done in the best interest of the golf course community. Some of this money could be used to update & expand the Ute Creek Club House which would be much more beneficial to the golfing community for everyone to enjoy. This would be more in line with making our city more beautiful. Moving a maintenance facility to the proposed location would definitely not contribute to this goal.

The decision to locate the maintenance facility away from the heart of the golf course was a mistake made at the time of construction. Homeowners should not be penalized 20 years later for the lack of planning and foresight by the city.

I am already upset at the amount of traffic and the speeds golfers drive through the neighborhood. If these facilities go in I am worried about how it will make this community even more unsafe.
