GE Capital, you look like an old school retard to those who are using smartphones.

This is crap and as soon as my card is paid in full I will never use it again until the issue is resolved.

I have multiple GE accounts and only just now realized they don't link to MINT. Isn't this 2014?

GEMB's stated reasons for Sam's Club and Amazon Store cards not linking to Mint don't hold up. I've programmed credit card transaction exchange systems professionally, and this problem could be resolved in weeks, if not days -- provided GEMB wanted to do so. I will be cancelling my Amazon Store Card first, and if nothing changes, the Sam's club credit card will be next. for

Let the consumer decide whether or not they can connect with a finance help! We can judge on our own whether or not something will hold our information securely!

as a new mint user, I was saddended to see that GEMB/Synchrony will not "play nice" with Mint. I have read about mint.com for several years before deciding to experiment with the cut-over from Quicken (desktop) to an online system. Get with the program GE/Synchrony. This is sthe way of the future. If you are worried about the "ways to save" undermining your marketing practices, just "come to the darkside". Not only do they have cookies, they also have mint(s)!

The 'competitive nature' argument doesn't hold water. If it did then GE/Synchrony should stop using the U.S. Postal Service as their competitors send as many unsolicited credit offers as GE. Further, I doubt seriously that AmEx, Chase, Bank of America, E-Trade, and the other banks with which I have accounts linked to Mint would allow direct access by Mint and other data aggregation services if there was truly a security issue. It appears to any rational individual that GE either lacks the technical capability (doubt it, but if so I don't want to fly on planes that have their jet engines!), or more likely they desire the extra revenue that late fees and unintended interest charges afford them at the uneccesary expense of their 'customers'. And Mint - such infrequent updates make it look like you don't really care. So please, GE and Mint, come together and resolve this issue quickly.

As someone who enjoys the benefits of CareCredit and monitors ALL financial activity on a daily basis, it is very important to me to have a solution that functions well with all of my accounts. I am highly disappointed with GEMB in that their CareCredit product does not synchronize with Mint. Even my government accounts sync with Mint. GE needs to get with the program.

There is no legitimate reason for GE to block these apps that help people manage their money. The customer is always right! I would cancel all of my GECapital cards if I could but they are linked to some really big purchases right now and my Walmart Discover card (which oddly enough I can't even see in my Discover Card app-GE blocks it as well) b/c it saves me so much on gas. I don't appreciate firms/companies that try to limit my rights to excellent resources that they have no control over and make no money by allowing these services. It is SAD really.

This is a terrible situation - many people use Mint to help them control their finances and the transaction detail belongs to them - GEMB please support your customers by allowing Mint access to their data !!

Unfortunately, we have more than 1 GEMB/Sychrony Bank account that we can't link. I want to be able to track my whole financial picutre in one place. Please correct this!

Please add Mint and Check app support to your bank, Synchrony Bank needs to be configured for it. Other credit cards and banks can, please support this. Need access to my Sam's and CareCredit accounts via apps for financial management. Like if you want Syncrony Bank to support these apps!!!

Maybe if instead of contacting GE / Synchrony we contact the Wal-Mart company headquarters to tell them what a black eye their vendor is giving them. If Wal-Mart tells GE to make it happen ... it WILL happen!! I think we start a new petition to Wal-Mart to switch providers from Synchrony.

GE Capital/Synchrony, please allow Mint to assess my account information. I will transfer my balances next year if no changes are made.
