Using Synchrony (GEMB/GE Capital) Accounts with Mint/Quicken (Intuit)

If all the other major banks can sync with Mint, GEMB should too.

Synchrony (formerly GE Capital) is the only bank who will not connect on Mint.com. I have a major credit card there and would like to add it to Mint so I can see all my accounts in the same place!

I will be cancelling my Sam's card if they cannot resolve this issue. Tracking all my expenses in one location is convenient, and it is very frustrating that my expenses are not consolidated anymore.

Please allow customers to sync with Mint. As your customer, it seems silly to limit our use of financial services. Disallowing the use of Mint to access OUR personal information for the mere fact that we will see competitive advertising is as if a retail store would only allow you to open a store card if you were mutually exclusive to them. We have the right to access our information AND look at competitive offerings if we so choose.

I will be canceling some cards due to this unfortunate issue. This is a poor choice for Synchrony bank....

If this does not get resolved soon, I will have to cancel my Old Navy Synchrony card, which is the primary card I use. This is getting ridiculous that it has gone on for so long!

I am fairly certain that GE doesn't have higher security standards than virtually the entire financial community. Hundreds or thousands of other major financial institutions seem to have no issue with Mint's standards and protocols.

Mint provides a valuable service for today's active consumer with many accounts to track. Being unable to see my 3 GEMB accounts as part of my complete financial picture on Mint creates added complication when managing my finances and makes it hard to justify continued use of GEMB accounts.

Please support mint.com for better money management. I have 3 card with you and keeping track of balances is very challenging. I would like to see GE Capital as an innovative and creative solutions provider not a dinosaur (we know how that ended).
