Using Synchrony (GEMB/GE Capital) Accounts with Mint/Quicken (Intuit)

I shop at Home Depot rather than Lowes simply because I want all my accounts aggregated into Mint. Lowes is losing business because of this.

Your choice to actively BLOCK Mint.com from using their aggregation tools to let ME and other customers have access to OUR information is misguided and counterproductive. You claim it is because Mint.com offers, "“Ways to Save” advice which could be competitive". However, your refusal to allow access via a very useful free budgeting tool means I will NEVER intentionally use your company for ANYTHING as I cannot look at it via Mint

All of my other accounts allow access to Mint with no complications. Please allow our lowe's account to be accessed by MINT. This is the only bill that I have that will not sync with MINT bills and it is very frustrating. I like to keep all my bills organized and in one place to ensure on-time payments! I almost forgot to pay my lowes credit card because it was not on my "bill list" Please fix this ASAP... 4 years is unacceptable and poor customer service!

Snychrony's decision to block Mint/Quicken is short sighted. Your apt to receive Lowe's cardholders timely payments if they can use the reminder feature in Mint. We know late payments generated additional fees for Synchrony but those late payments also come with additional costs to the bank. Please Reconsider.

If I can't sync my new GE Capital card with Mint, I doubt I will use the card much. Good for my credit score, I guess, but not so good for GE Capital's business.

I have 8 Synchrony accounts. This has been more than frustrating, not being able to access my all my accounts (including my Synchrony) with one interface. I have to keep a separate spreadsheet to ensure I don't miss any payments, and keep the 700+ credit score I worked hard to achieve.

I stopped using my card after finding out you block mint.

I was going to start using my Sams card in place of the discover card. This changes my decision. I have 3500-4000 per month in spending I do on a card.

I just opened a synchrony account but think I'll immediately close it seeing that it doesn't support Mint. There are plenty of high yield savings accounts to choose from that support Mint.

Intuit Mint needs to implement an upload CSV work around to mitigate Synchrony's strategic monopolistic non-compete stonewalling behavior

I've been using Mint for 5 years and it's been a boon for my budgeting needs. However not being able to link my 2 Syncrony cards makes using those cards a pain. I would rather not have them at all (and in a sense, use them exceedingly rarely due to this) if they don't work with Mint. There's really no excuse for this

I am a Quicken and Mint user and the fact that GE/Synchrony/Whoever CHOOSES to not allow this is based on THEIR monetary wants/needs versus servicing what the customer (everyone signing this petition) is requesting. There is no reasonable justification to block my access to my own Lowe's charge account via Mint.com. This website is what I utilize to budget and monitor all of my transactions, as well as monitor my progress for debt payoff. My inability to link this one particular account will ultimately lead to me closing it.

I have three different store accounts, all hosted by Synchrony and due to lack of Quicken support, I'm planning on closing out all three. They make it too difficult to manage (or maybe that's what they're hoping for). Either way, I get a bad taste in my mouth when I see a vendor using Synchrony. I plan on writing Amazon as well.

I just signed up for an Amazon Store Card. 5% back on all Amazon purchases sounded pretty great. But not without Mint integration. I cannot believe this is the experience that GE Capital wants their customers to have. How incredibly short-sighted.

I did not choose your companies crap policies on this, instead I was thrust into a relationship with your bank. I owned a BP Chase card that has been working with Mint since I've owned it. Now I'm unable to aggregate my data properly because of this. Fix it or I will close it.

I was extremely excited to switch to GE Capital (online savings) but very disappointed to discovery that I cannot use Mint.com in connection with my GE Capital Bank account. Both companies have the same goal: to help customers maange their finances efficiently and effectively. I have 5 accounts through synchrony. Not being able to load them into Quicken has gotten me to the point where I am ready to just close out all of the accounts.

All my other finacial Institutions allow Mint to access my infomation and I have never had a breach of my infomation since I have been using them. I have only had my Samas Club card for two months and will not have a problem switching to another card.

I have two merchant accounts managed by Synchrony, and they are the only two I can't download to Quicken or aggregate with Mint. If I had the option, I would never use Synchrony because of this inconvenience you are foisting on us. I would really appreciate it if you could stop blocking Quicken and Mint and stop making life so difficult for us, your customers.

With so many other options to pay (that DO allow access) I have no reason to continue using the Gap Card.

Really, Syncrony is ridiculous if it thinks they can do better than web personal finance sites' security. It's not just Mint.com, they don't allow Fidelity Full View nor Personal Capital to import transactions. Had I known this I wouldn't have open a card.

I got the Sam's Mastercard through Synchony Bank and was shocked that I could not use direct connect in Quicken to download. I have many credit cards, and EVERY one of them allows for Direct Connect. This has to be corrected, or I won't be using this card.

Synchrony - your lack of support for the site I use to manage my money is more likely to motivate me to switch than a competitor's ad that I see there. Please allow Mint.com integration!

I recently opened up my first 3 online bank accounts. I made significant deposits to two of the banks but only small ones to Synchrony because it will not work with Mint/Quicken, and I made the latter deposits only because of its higher interest rates. I'll give it a couple of months and if this issue is not resolved I am closing my accounts and transferring my money to one of my other online accounts. Customer service is more important to me than 0.1% additional interest. I now understand why Synchrony has so many poor reviews. A number of my friends and acquaintances are now considering opening online accounts and none are considering Synchrony because of its poor customer service reviews. Wake up Synchrony.

This is ridiculous. This should of been fixed years ago. This not being fixed is why I stopped using my GEMB credit cards as my own way of protesting GEMB. If everyone would stop using GEMB we would put a huge dent in their profit and then they would be begging Mint to work with them.

Synchrony needs to resolve this or be dropped. Of course they don't want to make it easier on people to pay their bill on time. I'm sure there is a significant amount of money that can be made from bills that are overlooked and not paid on due date. Very suspicious synchrony.

Got two accounts with Sychrony that I don't use because I can't factor in the transactions with Mint. Causese me to use my Visa card instead of the store cards that Synchrony manages. Going to close cards as they are there just sitting doing nothing.

Synchrony has been pulling this cr@p for way too long - please open up your APIs and allow interop with Mint (and all of the other popular services you block)

It's not even Mint for me. I can't even link this to my own personal bank account and have the accounts and bills come through my own bank's bill pay feature. It's rather annoying. I always figure that creditors who disallow this kind of thing are banking on their customers forgetting a payment and thus, more money for them. Mint being competitive is an entirely different story. Fix this!

Seriously Synchrony. Play ball and grant read only access to account details, but not the personally identifiable information that would be a concern of identifty theft. If your services are as good as you think they are, then there's no need to worry about competition, and you'd be able to compete against your competitors.

Please unblock Mint.com. It helps me keep track of my bills, including yours, so I don't miss any payments. It also helps me look at all my accounts for any fraudulent activity.

The only reason that I have a GE Synchrony card is because of SAM's Warehouse. MINT synch is mandatory for me when choosing a Credit Card provider.

I was about to signup with Synchrony until I found this thread. I will be signing up with American Express Bank instead because I need my bank to work with Mint. I hope they get this resolved soon. Good luck everyone.

I intend to utilize the cards that work with my Mint.com account because it helps my budget management and bill pay. It's too easy to miss payments if they are not on my mint bill pay. I won't cancel cards necessarily. But I won't use them. So please reconsider.

It sucks not to have a complete overview of my finances! I always have to keep in mind that it's not as good as it looks, since my CareCredit debt isn't included. I wish there was another type of healthcare credit card I would switch to, that would work with Mint.
