This is a great idea and I may even consider getting a bike if I had this option. I am not inclined to go up and down stairs with a bike, not even a fold up one...because where on earth am I going to store it. Not too inclined to give up closet space! We have such a huge space down there and it is a shame that it is not being used. It is a great place for bikes.
