We need this in our city. We need real solutions for the crisis of houselesness. Everyone benefits from this.

It's sad to see all the empty buildings and HUMAN BEINGS living on the streets and being criminalized. Shameful.

I'm a housed neighbor in King neighborhood, where I've lived with my family for 4 years. We would like to see a sustainable temporary solution to the housing crisis here. The villages option will increase safety for houseless neighbors and housed as well. It's an affordable option with dignity.

Sweeps KIll! Everyone has a right to a safe place to sleep, without fear of having their things stolen. How can anyone be expected to work on improving their lives when they are constantly stressed about a safe place to sleep and whether they will be warm enough. It's basic sense that housing must come first!

When speaking with a Portland rep, they where more worried about "liability" but I ask, what about the person getting killed while trying to hid from getting tickets for "illegal camping"

Yowza! These tiny homes are just sitting around, empty? After visiting a Camp RATT in Austin TX, I can assure you, there is a faction of the unhoused population perfectly capable of managing a community, responsibly.

Also designate “ Surplus properties” - When attempting to relocate Hazelnut Grove- looked at 400 plus properties and only found Roberts piece in St John’s that Metro or city willing to use .

We need to end these chronic sweeps and begin a transition towards eliminating houselessness.

Please use surplus city property. There’s no reason to be paying Saint Johns community Church thousands of dollars every month to use their property. It’s a total total waste of our taxpayers dollars.
