Use City Surplus Properties for Self Managed Houseless Villages

As your future City Commissioner, I fully support in this direct action from our city in proving land for tiny houses in St. Johns and the city of Portland. Instead of implementing anti-houseless ordinances, sending the cops to do the sweeps and criminalizing houseless people, this is one way in approaching this issue while city comes up with a permanent solution to this permanent problem.

There is no reason anyone in this state should go without food or proper shelter. No. Reason.

What more noble cause can there be than to help those among us who are helpless? After all we can't regulate away homeless. We can't wish it away. We can only home it away.

Every human deserves the safety and dignity of a home.
