This petition is for current University of the Sunshine Coast students who are fed up with the paid parking system aka the "license to hunt". The purpose of this petition is to come to a reasonable and practical solution to ensure the best outcome for students wishing to park at the USC campus.

The proposed outcome/s of this petition are:

1. We are paying for something that is not guaranteed, more parking spaces need to be added to guarantee parking spaces to students and staff that purchase an ePermit.

2. The University has not come through on the infrastructure promised before implementing paid parking, if all students were to sign up topaid parking there are not enough physical spaces to ensure parks to all paying customers.

3. The majority of current students will not benefit from the multi-storey car park, the time-frames given are not sufficient, students are paying for construction of a service they will not get to use.

4. The fines issued are too high for the location. The amount payable by the student is not realistic to the demographic area.
