As an Anatomy student of The University of the Sunshine Coast semester 2 2016, do you feel you are being given what you need to be successful in this course?
Our choice to attend a lecture has been removed and replaced with an online delivery model. Despite every other course lecturer insisting at the beginning of each semester that "Online learning does not replace the effectiveness of attending face-to-face lecture". the universities own statistics show that those who do not engage/attend face-to-face lectures have a significantly higher fail rate.

I am really struggling with anatomy in the online format due to unreliable internet access.
I feel like going through the lecture online takes me longer than going to an actual face to face lecture

I am feeling very lost not having a lecture that is my way of revision and all other course coordinators state never miss a tutorial or lecture and all we have for anatomy is a 2 hour tutorial
Online learning simply is not a viable option for everyone.
Lectures solidify your readings! Without them half of the readings cannot be clarified or made sense of by someone who's never learned the topic before.

reading a powerpoint and uploading this is not sufficient learning or explanation of such a heavy subject such as anatomy. Where is the logical justification for the removal of our lecture when every other class is stressed that the online recordings (still better then just a power point) does NOT replace attending the lecture.
