US OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 1x FLORIDA
Florida: Sunshine, Palm Trees, Ocean, Oranges, Lots of Golf. So many golf courses, Florida has been dubbed the golf capital of the world. Florida has the highest concentration of golf courses than any other place on planet earth. So, why is it that since 1895 (quick math: 121 years) the establishment year of the US Open Golf Championship, has the game never been contested in Florida? Ya, you heard right, it's never ever been played in Florida...huh? Heat, come on, poor excuse. The 2016 Open in Oakmont, PA was 82° on it's final round Sunday. Temperature in Miami that same day and time a balmy 83°. Something sounds fishy. Anyways, check out wikipedia and you will see multiple fantastic venues in multiple states across our great nation. Some golf courses getting the honor more than 10 times by 2025 in it's history. What's going on with the folks over at the USGA? Maybe they don't like oranges or sunscreen idk. Sounds like a triple bogey to me. Who or what i$ keeping the greatest Major in golf from being played in the little old State of Florida? Please sign the petition so the USGA can hear the people on this matter. Thank you for your support!! Go Sunshine State 2027!!
