Absolutely outrageous that work has been undertaken without any notification.

Cutting down all the trees will surely have a very negative impact to nature and animals habitats.

This is outrageous, remove what they need to remove for safety, there is absolutely no need to destroy the countryside and wildlife habitats for no other reason. It will become an eyesore plus make the trains very loud as they pass by our little village.

It is disgraceful that network rail are destroying our countryside & local wildlife. I want to look at beautiful trees not a train track!

This is disgusting, the noise in wolston from the trains especially at night at is bad enough, but to destroy and remove areas of woodland so prominent in a rural community and close to housing is very bad.

Cannot believe that residents, wildlife and conservation have not been taken into consideration before felling the beautiful trees that surround the railway track.

Save the trees.

The sound absorption and dispersion properties of the trees also needs to be considered. With the proximity of a residential area so close there will possibly be a noticeable increase in noise pollution to the residents.

I would urge you to walk the grounds. Trees have been unnecessarily cut down that are not even close to the rail line. The trunks show how old and beautiful these trees must have been. All looks barren now. Devastating. They should be legal action taken to stop them from doing this again and investment to support the environment that they have so recklessly destroyed.

This is irresponsible and thoughtless destruction of years of established trees and foliage. Every tree destroyed must be replaced with the same species.

trees needed to buffer the sound. Vegetation Needed for wildlife. Pollard trees if necessary but don't raze them to ground level
