Not necessary think of all the wild life that will suffer from this.its an area of its own natural beauty. It also helps make the train track less obtrusive to the housing that surround it.

It is totally unnecessarily. The railway noise near my home on the priory manor estate, where they have already destroyed the noise deflecting trees, had significantly increased, let alone the damage to the habitat for animals

I am 93 years old and used to get up every morning, look out of my window to see lovely green trees, hear birds happily twittering away and watch rabbits running around playfully on the green. I was thankful that, at my age, I was able to enjoy these few pleasures in life. Since the workmen have arrived, I cannot see any rabbits and rarely hear the birds. I am also now told that the workmen plan to tear down the trees which I so love looking at. I don't understand how these people can destroy something that is so precious to me. I hope someone can stop them.
