Shocking. Trees seem to be seen as a nuisance rather than an extremely valuable asset. What about the wildlife that depend on these trees? I expect that network rail sees the wildlife as a nuisance too. They are vandalising our natural environment and should cease their destruction immediately.

Utter disregard for wildlife, felling in nesting season. This surely contravenes many wildlife protection measures?

This is seriously worrying that businesses can simply re-shape the environment to their convenience with no legal consequences, as well as sad for the impact on wildlife!

Unbelievable, especially as people are becoming more environmentally aware. Include me in any replanting plans.

As my property is adjacent to network rail land,I live in fear of losing my privacy to the chainsaw lunatics.

Since moving to Wolston we have come to love this area! It has diversity of wildlife and most of the villagers I know want it to stay this way. Respect the environment!

I fish the river avon and now the lack of shade due to tree removal is detrimental to this fishery.

The wildlife habitat behind my home has been devastated. Hundreds of nesting birds have been wiped out. Hedgehogs, foxes and badgers that visited my garden have gone. Network Rail must not be allowed to get away with this corporate vandalism.

Have seen what has happened so far and I am disgusted at how bare it looks. Next Network Rail will be complaining about how the embankments are subsiding!! No wonder that they will when no trees and vegetation.
