URGENT! Stop Choto Landing Development in West Knoxville

Vote no for the proposed housing project for Northshore Choto area.

Save what is left of our community and stop all this development! We have no infrastructure to support what already exists!

Living in West Knox Co for over 40 yrs, I've watch the area develop. I've fought several battles with MPC and don't trust them to respect the local citizenry. Choto Landing is no exception. There are too many reasons why this is not the place for Choto Landing.

This development poses a clear risk to our community & it’s potential residents due to its location on S. Northshore Dr. It’s location on a blind hill is known for multiple accidents a year. And that is while there are no residents on the property.

As a resident of the Lake Cove community, I am vehemently against the misuse of taxpayer dollars to cheaply fund developers who contribute to political campaigns and influence our elected officials to place Section 8 housing in one of Knoxville’s most desirable areas.

I fully support ending this Choto Landing development.

I am in full support of stopping this project. This is not a proper location for low income based housing.

I am against the Choto Landing Development in West Knoxville. The Choto area is not the right location for that type of development. Thank you.

This development was approved without a hint of community input. Knoxville Mayor Glenn Jacobs has sidestepped the concerns and voices of the very residents who elected him.

And just how Section 8 housing will vote en mass is no mystery either, is it? You're right about one thing, we can never, ever let it happen.

I oppose the Choto Landing Development which includes Section 8 housing, etc. It is an outlandish proposal and a detriment to our community in many ways.

Tax dollars spent on premium land for low income housing where there is a lack of facilities for low income families is ridiculous and irresponsible spending.
