My father was a legacy body surfer at the Wedge And one the only two contests that were ever held there. If he were alive today, he would be out there with a shovel and a bucket if that’s what it took to restore the beach and make it safe. How much more expensive would lawsuits be from people being injured compared to the cost of trucking in some sand. Please fix the situation on behalf of Don, “the Great White Whale” Redington,. And the Redington, family

#1 Because that stuff is toxic and you want to put it where we surf ? #2 you want to drag it down the beach all the way to the wedge that's way too much traffic on the beach and toxic machines that we have to watch every day? #3 it messes with the natural filteration of the toxic element that comes down the Santa Ana River trail and exits into our surf already you're crazy there's no need to do this it's not going to help it's not going to stay and it's nothing but a waste of money and time that we don't need to spend for something that is not going to be a positive outcome for anyone?

This is inexcusable and demonstrates years of neglect regardless of obvious urgency.

I saw some of the debris in the corner and it looked like to me someone could be impaled on one of those nasty things sticking up that have been exposed by sand loss. This really is a safety issue and to prevent serious injury or loss of life I urge you to act now.
