Please retain the existing Randall’s Island fields 82-85 as is. These are the most used fields by the kids and close to the foot bridge. There must be an alternative location elsewhere.

Don't punish the kids of the city for a problem that the adults created.

Building the tent there is a horrible idea and a disservice to NYC’s youth which really should be the main priority here

As a tax payer all US citizens should be our priority. Kids deserve sports in NYC. It's proven to keep kids out of trouble.

Athletics in nyc are tough enough for kids. We cannot lose more field space. NYC will drive families out of the city if these quality of life issues keep happening. Please don’t infringe on our children’s spaces.

Do not surrender a valuable resource for our children to this plan. There are other alternatives that can be sought would not impact the development of our children. Additionally, we do not want to see Randall's Island turned into a tent city that will breed disease, crime, and ruin.

While I am sympathetic and want to help find solutions, negatively impacting the children of this city is not a responsible option. Nor is it to put them in Central Park. The Javitz just opened more space - allocate some of that. New Yorkers pay outrageous taxes, our children have virtually no place to play. Don’t sacrifice your city citizens. Be creative- there are hundreds of vacant spaces around the city - and not just Manhattan.

There is very limited space for children's sports in NYC. Randall's Islands fields need to be preserved.

Please do not repurpose the sports fields on Randall’s island. There are very limited spaces in the city for kids to play and engage in sports. This would have a significant impact on the children and adults of New York City. These fields are already in high demand.
