My 2 sons attend sports programs that utilize these fields. They look forward to these programs on the weekends

As tax paying family that have children, we have been using these fields for sport activities like so many thousands of other families! Kids in NYC should not lose their limited parks and recreation areas, for they will be trapped indoors and depressed!!

These fields are used constantly by schools and athletic groups across the city. There are not enough soccer fields as it is. Eliminating these fields would mean that kids can't play.

There is plenty of vacant real estate across the 5 boroughs that can be used for this purpose. Let's not punish our children again with misguided solutions.

Randall's Island, should not be used to house migrants; all of the vacant commercial space in the city should be utilized instead. The parks are for the children and people of New York to enjoy. With the ongoing mental health crisis in our country, these outdoor spaces are needed by children and families more than ever!
