This is abhorrent. Please do not destroy the randals island soccer fields. These are the property of the children of taxpayers not the illegals immigrant service industrial complex.

Please find another way to support migrants and asylum-seekers without robbing our children of their playing fields.

Please find alternate solutions. Kids in NYC need more open space not less.

This is totally insane unacceptable and should not be allowed to move forward.
Although I feel for the Asylum Seekers taking away space dedicated to the use of this city is not the way to handle this problem mayor Adams should rethink this the city council should rethink this and leave Randall's Island to the kids that it was designed to service.

Children should not be last priority & first to lose out on recreational & health spaces. There is a mental health crisis for young kids and this is exactly why. Shame on Eric Adams.

My two grandsons, 8 and 10, play sports on Randall’s Island after school almost every day. It is really important to them and important for them and other children to have this healthy outlet, particularly living in apartments in NYC. Please do not take this away from so many children. Sandy Wilbur

Simply—- there are other spaces to use in New York other than a facility that kids use to grow, learn and explore opportunities.

There are other spaces available even on Randall's Island that don't require taking away recreational spaces. Let's be more creative in our problem solving.

We barely have enough field space as it is for kids in the city, we cannot take more space away from them.

Helping others cannot be at the expense of our childrens wellbeing. In a time where screens are becoming their own pandemic and kids need to maintain fitness and discipline to develop healthy lifestyle habits, we cannot be eliminating precious field space. The city needs to push back on other agencies and states and not expect our children to make yet another sacrifice.
