Preserve Randall's Island Fields 82-85 for NYC Children

There are already so few fields for our kids to do soccer on that out “home field” is at SUNY Purchase!

Don’t take away kids fields. We have so few fields in NYC for all of our teams. Why not try to use all of your empty office buildings?

We need these park and fields for our kids!

Why do our children’s interests always come last?

Our kids have very few options for open playing fields in NYC. Please look to other location options for the asylum-seekers. Thank you.

This field is critical for our soccer team

I played my first game on Randall’s Island in the late 90’s. I was a member of the Clarkstown SC in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League. We had no turf then and although the fields weren’t the best we enjoyed having a place in NYC to play. From that first time until now I would say between playing and into my older years coaching, I have been on Randall’s Island for hundreds of soccer games. Please preserve this area for recreation not politics. There are other places in this state to house people rather than athletic fields.

Nyc children need more green and public spaces

The fields are to be used by our nyc kids for soccer, they are not a place for migrant shelters.
