Illegal immigrants killed and continue to kill all around on Randall's Island. Animals struggle to be alive, all green zones covered by trash and dirt. Children lost places to make exercises and play all games on fresh air. Old and middle aged sitizens of NY don't have opportunities to see beauty of the island and breath fresh clean air. Mayor Adams SAVE THE ISLAND BEFORE IT NOT TO LATE.

This policy takes away educational resources for school children in NYC. It removes opportunities that teach kids how to work together to accomplish shared goals thru sports. This is mismanagement and reckless to say the least. NYC needs to fix this problem by giving back the fields to whom they are intended and re-locate migrants to a better suited area, perhaps within the NYC park resources. (non-field space) Field space in NYC has never met the demand it's supposed to serve. Taking away these fields is a tremendous disservice to education and the kids it serves.

while I appreciate the need to find places to house these people. Taking away fields from NYC kids that don't have enough fields to begin with is not the answer. I'm sure there are other solutions to this issue.

There are so many City owned locations that don't take away children's recreational space... this decision must be more thoughtfuly examined by more thought filled people

Children need space in NYC. There is no space AT ALL! DO NOT DENY THEM SPACE to stay healthy and play sports!

First, kids were denied playing sports because of covid. Three years later, our kids are being denied sports to make way for asylum seekers. THIS MUST STOP.

There already are not enough fields for soccer and sports in Manhattan, how can you possibly take this away?

Absolutely unacceptable to have the migrants placed in this precious place.

Our son, aged 7 years, utilizes these fields to play soccer. Playing youth soccer is an important developmental activity.
