The amount increased is ridiculous. Bereaved families don't need to be stressing about burying their dead on top of grieving their loss. Shameful in this day and age.

It's just wrong families are already dealing with losing there loved ones and this council is trying to make it harder for people to bury there loved ones

It is hard for the bereaved families to pay for the current burial charges as it is. This hefty increase in internment fees will make the situation even worse. I request Birmingham council to reconsider the increase of 55%.

This is ridiculous and insensitive towards the religious Faith's who bury their losses. Your taking advantage and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Please do not put the prices up for burial. The event if burial is already a time of remorse and say times.

Death comes unannounced, families are already struggling to make ends meet. The council are partly a cause of this struggle by putting up council tax. The last thing we all want now is people struggling to bury the dead and the mortuaries to be backlogged with bodies.
