Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Birmingham is one of the most expensive places to bury a loved one.This is out of order.

The cost of burial is too much. Done people will find it hard to pay for these costs.

Death should not be expensive

The amount we have to pay is too much and we can't afford it plz put the cost down to minimum. 5 to 700 is more then enough.

Please stop the increase of burial, people need help at the times of loss of loved ones, 5% increase is ok, but 55% is unacceptable

It's a shame Birmingham city council is charging 50% extra to people who are already going through difficult times

55% increase..!! That's outrageous..

Birmingham City Council. Burying a loved one is already difficult and very expensive. With the austerity hitting us hard don't burden us with an increase that will literally put most of us over the edge.

first you worried about living now you have to worry about your burial?

It has has come to my knowledge that the that the funeral cost are rising from 1st April by 55% which is quite high and outrageous for people like us and the poor people who could barely afford to live a normal life - put food on the table and roof over their head .

By doing so will help alot of families to gather money for their deceased ones.

It's not acceptable this much rise

Even thou being a charity organisation there is no need for an increase of 55% all of a sudden as the fixed rate already people cannot or just about afford funeral cost
